On the evening of April 15th, local time, the famous landmark of Paris, France, caught fire. The upper structure of the Notre Dame had a large open flame and a strong black smoke, which led to the collapse of the 852-year-old central axis tower in the fire. The building was badly damaged.
For the people of Paris, this symbolizes their belief, wisdom, and beauty. The Notre Dame has encountered such a fire in peacetime, and the burning people are tearful.
Although Notre Dame will be rebuilt and restored, we know that its materials, craftsmanship and 800 years of precipitation can no longer be found.
