1) Leak detection of the evaporator of the flake ice machine is often carried out. Leakage is a common failure phenomenon of evaporators, and you should pay attention to frequent leak detection during use.

When the ammonia evaporator leaks, it has a pungent odor, and there is no frost at the leak point. Phenolphthalein test paper can be used to check the leak because ammonia is alkaline, it turns red when it meets phenolphthalein test paper. When you look at it, usually somewhere in the evaporator where there is no frost is usually the leak point. You can also use soapy water to find the leak at the leak.

A halogen lamp and a halogen leak detector can be used to check the leak of the evaporator of the flake ice machine, or the leak can be found with soapy water. When checking, you can first check whether there are oil traces on the evaporation pipe. Because Freon and oil are mutually soluble, when Freon leaks, the oil will also leak out from the leakage point. Therefore, where there is an oil trace, it will leak. When a halogen lamp is used for leak detection, if there is a Freon leak somewhere, the flame of the halogen lamp burning changes from blue to green, light green, grass green, purple-green, purple, and other colors to judge the amount of Freon leakage. If the flame is dark green or purple, the flame in the flame is poisonous and cannot be checked by this method for a long time. In this case, soapy water can be used to check for leaks. For minor leaks, a halogen leak detector should be used for leak detection.

2) Frequently check the frosting condition of the evaporator of the flake ice machine. When the frost layer is too thick, defrost in time. When the frost is abnormal, it may be caused by a blockage, and the cause should be found and eliminated in time.

3) When the evaporator is out of service for a long time, it is advisable to bump the refrigerant into the accumulator or condenser and keep the pressure of the evaporator at about 0.05MPa (gauge pressure). If it is the evaporator in the salt pool, it needs to be flushed with tap water. After flushing, fill the pool with tap water.

⒈The chilled water pump of the water storage tank continuously circulates through the plate-type or divided evaporator;

⒉After the compressor is running, it undergoes suction-compression-exhaust-condensation (liquefaction)-throttling-and then evaporates at a low temperature of -10 to -18 degrees in the evaporator and vaporizes. Chilled water continuously condenses into an ice layer on the surface of the cooler evaporator at a water temperature of 0 degrees. When the ice layer has condensed to a certain thickness after the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant reaches the temperature-controlled set temperature, the defrost solenoid valve is turned on, which usually uses a heat pump to de-ice, and then the next cycle is realized.
